Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Blissful Blinds website and your purchase of products and services from us. By placing an order or submitting an enquiry, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

References to "Blissful Blinds", "we", "us", or "our" refer to Blissful Blinds Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under Company Number 17329706. Registered Office: 75 Ringwood Bretton, Peterborough, PE3 9SR.

Home Consultation & Quotation

• Our home consultation, measuring, and fitting services are provided free of charge and carry no obligation to purchase.
• Quotations provided during a home visit are valid for 7 days from the date of issue.
• All quoted prices are for bespoke, made-to-measure products custom manufactured to the dimensions recorded during your home visit.
• We cannot provide accurate quotations over the telephone without precise window measurements.
• Our price promise means that if you obtain a written like-for-like quote (same blind type, specification, and fitting service) at a lower price, we will endeavour to match or beat it.

Orders & Deposits

• A minimum deposit of 50% of the total order value is required at the time of order confirmation.
• By paying the deposit, you confirm that you accept our quotation and these Terms & Conditions.
• The remaining 50% balance is payable upon satisfactory completion of the fitting appointment.
• All orders are custom manufactured to your specific requirements. Once manufacturing has commenced, orders cannot be cancelled or amended without charge.

Payment Methods

• We accept payments by Bank Transfer and PayPal.
• We do not accept cheque payments.
• Full payment details will be provided when you confirm your order.
• All prices displayed on our website are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

Manufacturing & Lead Times

• Your blinds will be custom manufactured and ready for fitting within 7 to 14 working days of order confirmation and deposit receipt.
• Lead times may vary depending on the blind type, fabric availability, and seasonal demand. We will notify you of any material delays.
• Motorised, commercial, and bespoke shutter orders may have longer lead times; we will advise you of an estimated timeframe at the point of order.

Fitting & Installation

• Professional fitting is included in the price of every order at no additional charge.
• A person aged 18 or over must be present at the property during the fitting appointment to approve the completed installation and pay the remaining balance.
• If you are able to remove old blinds and clear the window area before our fitters arrive, this will help speed up the installation process. Our fitters can assist with removal if required.
• We reserve the right to reschedule a fitting appointment in the event of adverse weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances affecting our fitting team.

Warranty & Guarantee

• All products supplied and fitted by Blissful Blinds are covered by a 1-year product guarantee from the date of fitting.
• The guarantee covers manufacturing defects and component failures under normal domestic use.
• The guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper cleaning, or accidental damage.
• In compliance with British Blind & Shutter Association (BBSA) legislation, all blinds with looped cords are supplied with safety tensioning devices.

Cancellations & Returns

• As all products are bespoke and made to measure, your statutory right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply once manufacturing has begun.
• If you wish to cancel your order before manufacturing commences, please contact us immediately. We will endeavour to cancel at no charge, but this cannot be guaranteed depending on the stage of production.
• Deposits are non-refundable once manufacturing has commenced, as materials will have been ordered and cut to your specific dimensions.
• If the products are faulty or do not match the agreed specification, we will remedy the issue at no additional cost to you.

Website Use

• The content on this website is provided for general informational purposes only. Whilst we take care to ensure accuracy, we do not warrant that product images exactly represent colour or texture, as these may vary by monitor calibration and lighting conditions.
• We reserve the right to update, modify, or remove content from this website at any time without prior notice.
• Unauthorised use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of our website or placement of an order after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
